EIN Filing Guide

Privacy Notice

Effective September 8, 2026. This policy applies to the EIN Filing Guide.

Your IRS information stays on the IRS website

The EIN guide does not ask you to enter or upload your SSN, ITIN, EIN, legal name, business address, or IRS confirmation letter. Enter those details only on the official IRS website. Do not include them in support messages.

Account and purchase information

Sign-in provides your account identity and email and may provide a display name. Avora uses account and order information to confirm payment, provide returning access, handle refunds, prevent misuse, and answer support requests. The Ohio LLC Filing Guide and EIN Filing Guide use the same account, with separate purchase records and access periods. Both EIN paths are included in one EIN guide purchase.

Stripe processes payment information, including any billing details needed at checkout. Avora receives limited transaction information, such as order references, receipt links, payment status, amounts, and refund records—not complete card numbers. We record the policy versions and confirmations you accept at checkout, the time, the checkout page, and basic browser information.

Guide choices

The choices that tailor the guide are sent to Avora to load matching instructions. When you check or uncheck a section’s completion box, Avora stores your business type, guide choices, completed guide sections, and next section to resume in your account. Each EIN path has its own saved progress. You can resume on another device while your access is active, or delete a path’s saved progress from the guide. Checking or unchecking a section’s completion box saves your current guide choices and progress; each successful save replaces that path’s previous saved version. Changing business type or starting over does not delete saved progress. The guide does not save or submit your IRS application. Only your confirmed business type is also kept temporarily in this browser tab for the checkout return.

Service providers and security

Hosting and sign-in providers process information needed to deliver and protect the service, including technical request and security records. Stripe processes payments under its own Privacy Policy. The IRS operates its separate application and privacy practices.

Avora uses information for service delivery, support, security, accounting, and legal obligations. Avora does not sell the information collected through this guide or use guide choices for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention and your choices

Saved guide progress remains until you delete it or request account deletion. We keep account, purchase, refund, and support records only as needed to provide access, maintain required business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Routine payment-event and access-audit records are removed after two years. Account deletion may not remove transaction records we must retain for those purposes.

Email support to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information. We may need to verify your account before acting. Your rights depend on applicable law. Do not email identity documents or tax numbers unless a secure and necessary verification method has been agreed.

Updates

We will post an updated notice if our practices change and provide any additional notice or choices required by law. This service is intended for adults, not children under 18.
